NASH STRATEGIC REVIEW & BUSINESS TRANSITION

I am pleased to share a high-level update following our recent strategic project review, which has confirmed that NASH is well-positioned for ongoing growth and industry leadership. A presentation of the findings will be shared at the forthcoming State Chapter meetings, where your feedback and insights will be highly valued.

As part of our strategic evolution, we are undertaking a significant business transition. Effective 1 October 2025, Association Executive Services (AES) will assume responsibility for all NASH administrative functions, including member services, accounts, and the coordination of National Council governance.

This move is designed to enhance operational efficiency and continue to effectively support our members.

In addition, I am also pleased to announce that John Kilgour from AES has been appointed as Acting Executive Director of NASH, with immediate effect. John brings extensive experience in the building and construction industry and has previously served as CEO of the Fire Protection Association Australia and the Civil Contractors Federation Victoria. His leadership will guide us through this transition ensuring continuity and strategic focus.

We also acknowledge and sincerely thank Ken Watson, our current Executive Director, and Louise George, our long-standing Executive Assistant, for their dedicated contributions over many years. Ken’s expertise will continue to support us as our Technical Director on a contractual basis, ensuring ongoing technical leadership and standards development. Louise’s last day at NASH will be 30 September 2025 and in the interim period she will support the business transition of services to AES.  We wish Louise all the very best for the future in her planned retirement.
